Macy Gray with the David Murray Band

I was very happy with the photos I took of Macy Gray and the David Murray Band at the Howard Theatre. Macy Gray helped out by wearing colorful outfits and one  black and white dress. It was my first concert using my new Nikon D600. The show was fairly brightly lit, so I didn’t have to push the ISO beyond 2500. This was good since my 70-210mm lens is only f4.5-5.6. With the D600, the noise wasn’t an issue. I found some shoots that I converted to black and white for artistic reasons instead of too much grain.
